A bar/bat mitzvah marks the beginning of a child’s lifelong adult connection to the Jewish people. Voices of Hope’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah Program is a way to strengthen a child’s identification with his or her Jewish heritage by forging bonds with Holocaust survivors who weren’t able to have a bar/bat mitzvah during the Holocaust and/or their descendants and also twin with a child who was murdered during the Holocaust.
